  • Join Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer for Bike to Work Day on Friday, May 25. The ride will begin at 8 a.m. at Dartmouth Park (822 Dartmouth Street) and end at Orlando City Hall. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. For more information, click here.

  • The City of Orlando will hold an Oath of Office Ceremony for Mayor Buddy Dyer, District 1 Commissioner-Elect Jim Gray, District 2 Commissioner Tony Ortiz, District 4 Commissioner Patty Sheehan and District 6 Commissioner Samuel B. Ings on Friday, June 1. The ceremony will take place at 10 a.m. at the Bob Carr Performing Arts Centre located at 401 West Livingston Street. Parking will be available in lot 1 on West Livingston Street next to Bob Carr between Hughey Avenue and Parramore Avenue.

  • Don’t miss Date Night at Leu Gardens, featuring “Mission Impossible 4: Ghost Protocol” on June 1. Movie begins at 8:30 p.m. Garden admission is $5 per adult and $2 per child plus tax. Patrons may bring blankets, chairs and dinner picnic baskets. Members receive free admission on all Date Nights.

  • The City of Orlando is hosting Fireworks at the Fountain on Wednesday, July 4th. Fireworks at the Fountain is a patriotic celebration of fun, food and fanfare at Lake Eola Park. Enjoy live entertainment and an area just for kids. Festivities begin at 4 p.m., so get there early for a great viewing spot of the fountain and the fireworks! The finale of fireworks will begin at 9:30 p.m.
