 MEET

"STORMY"

Summary:
On Tuesday night Officer Shawn Dunlap was working off duty at Universal Studios when he was flagged down by some British tourists who said there was a kitten trapped in a storm drain. When Shawn went to check he discovered the kitty. He had to call streets and drainage. When they arrived, they suggested calling OFD for help in removing the drain grate. OFD showed up and got the grate removed. They tried getting the kitty with long poles but she was too scared to come out. Animal control responded and the officer found the other end of the drain which ran all the way under Universal Blvd. The animal control officer had OFD use their water hose to flush water through the pipe. The kitty came tumbling out, soaking wet but otherwise unharmed. Officer Dunlap has adopted the kitten. He named her “Stormy”
