Landscape Uses
The pinkish red flower clusters make this a very handsome landscape grass.  The delicate pink color of the flowering silk is attractive when backlit by early morning or late afternoon sun.  Group several plants together for a meadow effect.  Plants should be sheared by mid-February so the new growth comes out rich and green and unencumbered by the old stalks.

Special Notes
These plants do best in fast draining soil.
