Highlights:

Lake Eola Park is popular destination in the Downtown area, with many people taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings to walk at lunch or the evenings. The sidewalk that circles the lake is .9 miles in length, making it easy for visitors to keep track of their walking or running distances. Other activities available to park visitors include renting swan-shaped paddle boats for $15 per ˝ (half) hour, or electric gondola boats for $15 per ˝ (half) hour,  feeding the live swans and other birds inhabiting the park, seeing a concert or a play in the Walt Disney Amphitheater, grabbing a bite to eat at Relax Grill on Lake Eola or relaxing amid beautiful flower beds and a spectacular view of Orlando's skyline. Pictures were donated by Tom Hirtreiter, Deltona Lakes Digital Photo.

Leashed pets are allowed at all City parks, but not in playgrounds or athletic fields. Please clean up after your pet.

Fountain Shows:

The Lake Eola Fountain is the “official” icon of the City of Orlando.  At night the fountain comes alive with a choreographed show set to music.  The colors of the water and the musical themes change with the season.   Shows run nightly at approximately 8:00 pm and 9:30 pm lasting about 6 minutes.  Times change as the days get longer, so expect later start times moving towards the summer months.

Boat Rentals:

What better way to enjoy the lake than explore on a paddleboat?  Lake Eola Park has swan shaped paddle boats available for rent for $15.00 per half hour.  Each boat holds 5 adults.  Hours of operation are 10:00 am – 7:00 pm Sunday through Tuesday; and 10:00 am – 10:00 pm Wednesday through Saturday.  Look for the boat rental dock by the Relax Grill.
