Orlando Tennis Centre History

Highlights:

The Orlando Tennis Centre is the City of Orlando's premier tennis facility, offering adult tennis clinics (18 and up), league play, private lessons, tournaments, USRSA Racquet Stringers and youth tennis programs (6 and up). Tennis is also offered at Dover Shores Community Center, John H. Jackson Community Center, and  Delaney Park.

Programs:

Adult Tennis Clinics (18 and up): All clinics are open to the public and include: stroke production, competitive playing, fun atmosphere for all participants stressing sportsmanship and proper tennis etiquette.

Junior Tennis Academy (ages 7 - 17): Through basic ground strokes and fun, entertaining games, children can enhance their knowledge of the fundamentals of tennis on Tuesdays and Thursday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. $15 per child, per lesson.

League Play: Women and men's leagues, day and night play times, Currently there are 15 plus leagues running.

Private Tennis Lessons: $20 per half hour and $40 per hour, Each lesson is taught by an USPTA pro.

USRSA Racquet Stringers: On-site stringing; demonstrations given by the Tennis Pro.

Youth Tennis Program (6 and up): year-round junior training and advanced training are offered during the summer, classes available for beginners to state level players.
