Thru January 3 Leu's Holiday House - This holiday season, visit the Leu House Museum. Each of the 11 rooms in the home has its own theme from Hollywood Glamour to Monochromatic Elegance fused with amazing dioramas.Thirty minute tours are given on the hour and half-hour. The designers from Seminole State College of Florida Interior Design and Ron’s Miniature Shop & Museum dedicate their time and trimmings, turning the home into a magical holiday showcase. December 2 College Park Holiday on the Drive - Celebrate the holiday season with The College Park Partnership’s annual “Holiday on the Drive.” This FREE event is on December 2nd from 6 pm to 9 pm on Edgewater Drive (which will be closed from Smith Street to Winter Park Street). The event will feature live music, Santa, Carolers, Horse & Carriage Rides, Face Painters, a Moonwalk and much more! Just pack your favorite food and beverages, grab a blanket or lawn chair and sit back to enjoy an evening with friends and neighbors. Merchants along Edgewater Drive will be open for shopping and dining throughout the evening. Located in Downtown College Park on Edgewater Dr. between Smith St. and Winter Park St.
 
December 3 Date Night at Leu Gardens
"THE HOLIDAY", Friday, December 3. Gardens open at 6:00 p.m., movie time 7:30 p.m., weather permitting. Enjoy an outdoor movie in a beautiful garden setting. Patrons may bring blankets or chairs and a dinner picnic basket. Garden Admission is $7.00 plus tax for adults and $2.00 plus tax for children; Garden members receive free admission on all Date Nights. Admission is collected at the door. December 3 First Fridays Art Stroll
Friday, December 3, from 6 – 9 p.m. in Ivanhoe Village. The stroll starts at Ivanhoe Row in the 1200 block of North Orange Avenue and meanders north. December 4-5 33rd Annual Cracker Christmas Celebration

Come out and enjoy a weekend filled with Florida Cracker/pioneer re-enactors who will demonstrate their ways of life, including techniques for spinning, weaving, quilting, lace making, wood carving, blacksmithing, broom making, hide tanning, soap making and more. December 6 Story Time at Leu Gardens on Monday, December 6, at 10 a.m. hosted by Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children - Orange County Library System's storytelling program makes sharing stories and songs with your little one so much fun. Enjoy this indoor event the first Monday of each month at 10 a.m., excluding holidays. It’s Free! December 6 Holiday Lights Orlando takes place Monday, December 6, from 5 to 7 p.m., in front of the new Amway Center at 400 West Church Street. Holiday Lights Orlando is a great way to kick off the holiday season with the arrival of Santa Claus and an evening filled with musical entertainment and activities.

As a part of Holiday Lights Orlando, the City is partnering with XL106.7 “Baby DJ” fund drive.

December 11 The next Tree Adoption Program is December 11 at Jay Blanchard Park, 2451 N. Dean Road, Orlando, 32817 at 8 a.m. City of Orlando residents who want to receive two free trees to plant should register upon arrival and provide proof of Orange County residency (such as driver’s license, photo I.D. or utility bill). Trees are distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. The give-away supply is limited to two 7-gallon trees per household. Trees may not be planted on public property or retention ponds. Orange County/University of Florida IFAS Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand to answer landscape questions. Overview: Orange County and the City of Orlando recognize the important role neighborhood commercial districts play in the overall health of Orlando’s neighborhoods. We encourage community leaders and volunteers to build their neighborhood from the “inside out” utilizing the assets in the neighborhood. This Community Connections Workshop will engage and connect neighborhood leaders with local shopkeepers in one of Orlando’s neighborhood business districts. Learn first-hand from business owners how to engage them to be a neighborhood partner. Listen to Main Street Managers explain how work, play and community thrive in harmony. Then, take a walking tour of downtown College Park, a community that fuses urban with a small town atmosphere. On this walking tour, sample what’s in College Park to get “A Taste of Orlando Main Street”.
