Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer to Participate in SunRail Groundbreaking Ceremony this Friday
FDOT, federal and local funding partners will break ground

Altamonte Springs – Orlando Mayor Dyer will join with the Florida Department of Transportation and federal and local funding partners to break ground on the SunRail project on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. at the future home of the Altamonte Springs station, located at the intersection of Ronald Reagan Boulevard and State Road 436/E. Altamonte Drive.

Media parking is available on site. Facilities offering a view of the stage and audio reception are also available on a first come, first served basis. There will be media availability after the groundbreaking ceremony.

About SunRail
SunRail is a 61.5-mile commuter rail transit project currently underway in Central Florida. The 31-mile first phase of SunRail will serve 12 stations, linking DeBary to Sand Lake Road, south of Orlando. Phase II will serve five additional stations, north to DeLand and south to Poinciana.
