The Congresswoman has also invited a number of resource and social service agencies, college and universities, state and federal agencies, and branches of the military to this year's job fair to share their programs and services with job applicants. The 2010 Job and Community Resource Fair will also present on-site workshops to help applicants sharpen their job-seeking skills and offer resources for small business owners and entrepreneurs.

"With more than one in ten Floridians out of work, this is, unfortunately, an extraordinarily difficult time for job seekers both in the State of Florida, as well as around the nation. That said, attendance at the Job Fair is even more important this year, since it will provide a great opportunity for those searching for work to network and speak directly with  prospective employers," said Congresswoman Brown.
