    Yard Waste

FREE compost for your next landscaping or gardening project!
Compost is a mixture of biodegraded organic matter like yard waste, that can be used in landscaping or gardening to deliver wonderful results!
Visit the Orange County Solid Waste Website to get your FREE compost!

Bag it, Don’t Blow It. Yard waste clogs storm drains and dumps excess nutrients into our waterways, creating algae blooms, destroying wildlife habitats and decreasing recreational value. Always bag your yard waste and place it on the curb for pick-up. Learn more.

    Grease Management Program

Excessive discharge of oils and grease into wastewater systems can create clogs in the collection system and render float systems in lift stations inoperable, one of the primary causes of sanitary sewer overflows.

The City of Orlando Wastewater Division now offers free recycling of your used cooking oil. Click here to find out how you can recycle your used cooking oil.
