Blankner Baseball Field Lighting Ceremony On Tuesday, November 3, 2009, Commissioner Diamond hosted the "Lights On" ceremony to commemorate the installation of new lights at Blankner School. Through Commissioner Diamond's leadership, the City of Orlando partnered with the Orange County School Board to light the baseball field. School groups, Little League, and other civic groups are now able to safely 'play ball' during the darker, evening hours.  Commissioner Diamond makes opening remarks during the ceremony.
